SSM Health Care is one of the largest not-for-profit Catholic health care systems in the country. SSM owns and/or operates 20 hospitals in four states. The hospitals, ranging in sizes from licensed 36 to 684 beds, are located in Missouri, Illinois, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. SSM also owns and operates a rehabilitation institute, long term and residential care facilities, hospices, home health agencies, ambulatory care centers, physician practices, professional office buildings, shared services and health-related businesses.
