This is an outdoorsman's paradise.  Set in a deep valley and divided by flowing rivers - this history steeped community has much to offer!  Due to the area's low elevation the Lewis-Clark Valley is often referred to as the Banana Belt.  While most of the region fights snow and frost, citizens of Lewiston/Clarkston the enjoy a mild climate providing great weather year-round.  The area is rich with a unique culture.  Citizens enjoy specialized events throughout the year; including performances by the Washinton-Idaho Symphony and award winning shows at the Lewiston Civic Theatre.
