Saint Mary Mercy Hospital is a full-service, 304-bed hospital that opened its doors in 1959. The St. Joseph Mercy Health System has been spotlighted as one of the few health systems in the United States that uses a computerized order entry system, a key component that improves patient care and drastically reduces medication errors. Over the past 50 years, Saint Mary Mercy Hospital has undergone extensive renovations and expansions while its mission is to meet the ongoing healthcare needs the community and growing population. The most recent expansions include a 154,000 square foot addition, featuring all-private rooms, expanded emergency center and senior ER, as well as the Our Lady of Hope Cancer Center, Heart & Vascular Center and Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
