Sidney , New York is located on approximately two square miles in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains along the banks of the Susquehanna River . Nestled by the western slopes of the Catskill Mountains , the Tri-Town area is a land of wooded hills and fertile green valleys, with miles of fishing streams, covered bridges, and well-tended dairy farms. Tri-Town Regional Healthcare will be the 4th affiliate hospital of the Bassett Healthcare System, a renowned rural healthcare network consisting of over 30 sites throughout Central New York .

Originally opened as The Hospital at Sidney , Tri-Town Regional Healthcare will serve the communities of Sidney , Unadilla, and Bainbridge, as well as the surrounding area. The anticipated opening date is January 1, 2008 .
