Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant Job with Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA

Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG), a multi-specialty group bringing together more than 400+ talented physicians and advanced practitioners, is an affiliate of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS), a not-for-profit community health system with a patient service area of over 1.3 million residents covering 19 counties. NGPG is currently seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join a successful, well established group in providing exceptional skilled and compassionate care to our growing community as a part of our  Vascular Surgery  employed group in Gainesville, Georgia.

Opportunity Details:

The Physician Assistant will be responsible for pre, intra and post operative care and will become an “expert” at access (i.e. Diagnostic Runs, Needle in Artery via Ultrasound, work up of patient, etc.)  The most common surgeries/procedures are: Aneurysms, Carotids & Open-end Stents.

• Join a team of one  Surgeon  and one  Advanced Practitioners
• This position will be primarily at our Braselton Hospital
• Shared Vascular services with all Fellowship Trained Vascular Surgeons
• State of the Art Facility built in 2015
• Strong Cardiovascular community with over 40 specialized physicians, including EP, invasive and non-invasive cardiology, CV surgery and vascular.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Board Certification via NCCPA required
• Ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in cardiology, surgery, and or cardiovascular experience.  New graduates are currently not being considered for this role.
• The candidate will have a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, team player, self-motivated and able to multi-task are a must.
• Ideal candidate will have a gregarious personality, professional appearance and communication skills as well as excellent work ethic.
