What we are looking for:

In the role of Assistant Chief Medical Officer, they will provide administrative and operational oversight of clinical quality measures and patient services, in accordance with our mission, strategic goals, delivering proven performance and objective outcomes.

This position provides assistance to the Chief Medical Officer in the day to day leadership needs, supervision of providers, and clinical oversight.

Succession planning for this role will be to assume the role of Chief Medical Officer, once the role is available. 

Clinical responsibilities: open to full administration, partial administration, or a combination of clinical and administration.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy Degree from a school accredited by ACMGE.
  • Preferred supervisory experience in management of a group practice or Federally Qualified Health Center and practice experience.
  • Licensed to practice in the State of Illinois or eligible.
  • Skills in communicating effectively with patients and their families. Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with fellow healthcare providers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills required.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required.
  • FTCA coverage or private professional malpractice insurance obtainable.
  • Ability to travel to all locations and to meetings outside the service area; flexible hours required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $220,000  - $330,350.97 per year
