Wound Care Physician at UNC Health Wayne in Goldsboro, NC

We are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs, therefore, we are seeking to add a Wound Care Physician to the team. The practice has one physician and two APPs. Two hyperbaric chambers, flex schedule, a busy practice, full panel day one, hospital privileges and will help train medical students (Campbell).

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8am-430pm and Friday 8am-12pm

EMR: EPIC

Qualifications and Required Skills

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
• Wound Care experience and training required
• Physicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy preferred
• New trainees are welcome to apply
• Board Certified or Board Eligible

General Responsibilities

• Debridement
• Topical wound therapy
• Growth-factor therapy
• Tissue therapy
• Dressing selection
