Dear Misty,
We need an OB/GYN for locums coverage who can come in 1 week per month beginning in May, 2023. The locums will take over at 7 am on Monday and be on call all week and weekend until the following Monday at 7 am. 220 deliveries so it isn’t that busy.
This is for both call and office work
-In the office, they will average about 20 patients per week
-4 ½ day work week
-In office ultrasound
-You are covering for 1 OB/GYN and 2 FP/OB’s and will be the only one on call
-Avg patient contact per day for the call portion is 2.5 – this includes deliveries, admits, discharges, rounding, etc.
-We will provide a 3 ½ hour orientation for you when you start , including EMR training
-Philips OB TraceVu
-EMR - Evident for postpartum, nursery and Gyn patients in the hospital
-EMR - Greenway in the office
-Level 1 nursery
-Babies below 34 weeks most likely will be shipped unless they are doing well and require very little interventions from Respiratory Therapy.
-Put in UAC and IV lines, but once baby is on vent it will be shipped due to level 1 nursery
-Moms with ruptured membranes before 34 weeks will be shipped if stable and can be shipped
-No VBACs
-6 Anesthesia providers for epidurals
-Average about 220births per year
-Beautiful new Birthing Center
-Seasoned staff
Rates: $2,000 per 24 hours for call only to include 2 hours of work. $200 per hour for any hours worked beyond 2
