You will join a team of  highly regarded and experienced Interventional Cardiologists in an area that serves over 1.3 million residents and has seen tremendous growth over the past 5 years.

We are thrilled that in September 2021 the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education approved a new cardiovascular disease fellowship training program at the Georgia Heart Institute of NGHS. The three-year program began in July 2022 will train eighteen cardiovascular fellows – six per year – through a contemporary patient-centric and innovative educational experience that will produce exceptional cardiologists.

Practice Details:

• Full complement Cardiovascular Service line (Advanced Heart Failure, Structural heart with complex interventional cardiology, Advanced imaging, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery) 
• Experience high-volume, built-in referrals from a large group of non-invasive and interventional cardiologists
• Perform procedures in state-of-the-art electrophysiology labs along with highly experienced and dedicated support staff and allied professionals
• Highly experienced dedicated APPs are a part of the team
• Opportunities for medical research

Do you have what is takes?

• Medical Doctor with 2-5 years of post fellowship experience in Interventional Cardiology preferred
• Board Certified in Cardiology and Interventional/Structural Cardiology
• Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Georgia
• Functions appropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills, both their own and those of other provider and staff
• Actively participates in multi-disciplinary team approach (oversight of advanced practitioners)
• Pushes envelope to incorporate the latest technology available to streamline services
• Excellent clinical skills
• Team oriented
