Our Blairsville clinic location continues to expand and we are growing to meet the need for exceptional cardiac care in this northern region. Located in the heart of Georgia's Blue Ridge Mountains, it is one of the state's best-kept secrets. Do you have what is takes?

• Medical Doctor
• BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine
• Ability to obtain medical license in the state of Georgia
• Ability to interpret TTE, TEE, Stress Tests and Vascular Imaging
• Desire to push the envelope to incorporate the latest technology available
• Certification in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiovascular CT, Echocardiography preferred

At Georgia Heart Institute, our experts are actively involved in national research aimed at understanding what causes heart attacks and then preventing them from occurring.

• EMR Platform - EPIC
• Brand New State-of-the-art office space with over 8,000 sq. feet
• Shared Call is every 6th weekend with another local cardiology group – weekday call is only for GHI’s patients and would be 1:3
• Opportunity consists of both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities – inpatient is consult only
• Join this established practice consisting of two experienced non-invasive cardiologists and two advanced practitioners. Staff also includes an onsite practice manager and Echo/Nuclear techs. EP and AHF also provide onsite clinic presence as a part of this cardiac team.
• Inpatient rounding at Union General Hospital (not affiliated with Northeast Georgia Health System) – an up to date 45-bed facility located steps away from the clinic. Hospital has plans to add a new tower which will increase the number of patient beds, the size of the ER and add three additional ORs.
• Team of more than 80 cardiologists and advanced practice providers with GHI as your partners
• Candidates could qualify for the Georgia Physician Loan Repayment Program (GPLRP) and/or Physicians for Rural Areas Assistance Program (PRAA)
