Halifax Health Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking a Faculty Member to join our team in Daytona Beach, FL!

About Halifax Health:

Halifax Health is the area’s only Level II Trauma Center serving the Volusia County community since 1928. Halifax Health is the area's largest tertiary healthcare provider. The main campus is located in Daytona Beach with 678 licensed beds, there is an 80-bed community hospital; Halifax Health Medical Center of Port Orange and a new 90-bed hospital; Halifax Health | UF Health Medical Center of Deltona which  opened in February 2020. Halifax Health has over 500 physicians on its Medical Staff representing more than 46 medical specialties.   

Job Details/Qualifications: 

Our program was established in 1971 and is the only residency in this 764 bed full-service community hospital. We have an experienced and dedicated faculty, outstanding residents, and tremendous support from our hospital administration and community. We are seeking a full-time faculty member with strong clinical skills and a passion for teaching. Experience in obstetrics and women’s health is optional. Job Details/Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of residency from an accredited program
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians
• Eligibility for Florida medical license
• Dedicated commitment to providing a quality educational experience for residents
