AVERA MEDICAL GROUP PALLIATIVE CARE

• Avera Medical Group Palliative Care is seeking a fellowship trained  physician who is board eligible or board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine for a fulltime position at Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center.
• No call, no weekends
• Avera McKennan is a 545-bed tertiary referral center  in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The physician will join a group of two other physicians providing Palliative Care.
• Avera McKennan Hospice is a 16-bed free-standing facility that is Medicare approved and JCAHO accredited.  Christian-based caring and support for people with a terminal illness and their families is provided for all patients regardless of ability to pay.
• We have a commitment to helping people during the final stage of life's journey, providing care in the warmth and comfort of their chosen environment surrounded by family and friends. The Hospice team includes  Physician, Hospice Nurse, Social Worker, Chaplain, Pharmacist, Dietitian, Home Care Aides/Homemakers, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapists, and Volunteers.
