An established and growing group, just forty minutes outside of Tulsa, is adding a fourth cardiologist due to continued growth of the department. This is an established three-physician cardiology department within an overall group of fifteen physicians. Currently there are no fully trained interventional cardiologists in the group, and strong community demand has created this opportunity. We are considering adding an in-office nuclear medicine facility. Angiography and pacemaker insertion are done two blocks from the office in the local hospital, and Interventional work is performed minutes away at the regional center in Tulsa. Our local hospital has 300 beds and excellent facilities including CT Scan, MRI, and rehabilitation services. It is adding two new cath labs and 64 slice CT scanner.
The board certified or board eligible candidate with invasive or interventional skills will receive an initial income guarantee ($350 to over $400k depending on productivity) which is negotiable based on credentials and experience, plus an incentive bonus formula and complete benefits plan. There is also potential for investing in a heart hospital which is a joint venture between cardiologists and a major hospital system in Tulsa.
