Seeking gastroenterologist to join group of five GI physicians, Ranked #3 as Best Places to Practice

Seeking BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join group of 5 board certified Gastroenterologists. The GI physicians provide endoscopy procedures in a state-of-the-art GI Endoscopy Center attached to their clinic. The Endoscopy Center has 6 procedure rooms with one designated for endoscopic ultrasound where 6-8 EUS procedures are performed weekly. This group of highly skilled physicians also provide a wide array of advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP. Other clinical and academic activities include a weekly GI conference, teaching of medical students, family practice and internal medicine residents, and potential for clinical research. Clinical faculty appointment is a possibility in conjunction with the South Dakota School of Medicine. The physicians are employed, have a base salary plus production incentvies and an extremely generous benefit package.

General Gastroenterologist: INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT MIX

•Clinic attached to hospital by skywalk

•16 exam rooms

•Endoscopy Center located in GI Clinic Building

•6 endoscopy rooms with state-of-the-art technology

•18 patient rooms in Endoscopy Center

Hospitalist Gastroenterologist: NO OUTPATIENT COVERAGE

•1-2 Weeks of inpatient coverage per month

•1 weeknight evening of call, with weekend call coverage

• 6 Midlevels take primary call

•10-15 patients seen per day •Avera McKennan has 545 beds
