Pediatric Cardiology - Immediate Opportunity – Wichita, KS

Kansas Kids Heart Center is currently seeking to hire a provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the skills and training to perform all general outpatient pediatric cardiology services including fetal echocardiograms.

Our practice cares for patients with a broad range of clinical indications in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. The practice is primarily weighted towards outpatient care with inpatient consultations.   Physicians participate in local and remote site outreach to offer comprehensive heart care for pediatric patients. Physicians share call and enjoy a balanced lifestyle while developing professionally as part of an expanding pediatric practice. We see all ages fetal throughout adults with congenital heart defects.


Kansas Kids Heart Center is a well-respected private practice centrally located in quiet town of Wichita, KS, proudly serving our local community and majority of surrounding towns and rural areas. Our center is currently expanding our program to include our new outreach program with locations throughout the state.

Our practice is the longest established pediatric cardiac center in Wichita. We take pride in our respected network of referring providers, hospitals, and rural clinics. Wichita’s surrounding hospitals rely on our team to provide them with pediatric cardiac needs. Our providers have established strong relationships with well recognized cardiac surgical centers in the region and nationally to refer patients for surgical and or interventional therapies.

Candidates should have a proven record of academic success and demonstrate outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills. Applicants should have completed a General Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship and must be eligible for licensure in the state of Kansas. Applicant should also be either board eligible or hold current certification in pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics. Academic title will be commensurate with academic credentials. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking visa support such as J1 or H1 visa.

Compensation is based on experience but will be at least 20% above national average for year level of training. Benefits includes Salary, Health+Dental Insurance, 401 K retirement plan, sign on bonus, moving expenses payment, Disability and Life insurance, CME, and time off for sickness and vacation.
