Mercyhealth is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Endocrinologist to join our award-winning fully integrated health care delivery system.

Mercyhealth is a multi-regional, integrated health system, comprising of seven hospitals, more than 800 physicians, over 85 outpatient clinics and other services. In addition, we have invested $505 million in a new state-of-the-art, Level I Adult Trauma Center, Level III NICU, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, named Javon Bea Hospital,  that opened on 1/5/2019, in Rockford, Illinois.  We are also investing $50 million in renovations of the Javon Bea Hospital-Rockton Avenue campus. Finally, if teaching medical students and/or residents is of interest, medical students from the University of Illinois-Rockford, rotate through our clinics and we will be launching our own family medicine and internal medicine residency programs in July of 2019.

Opportunity:    

  • Work in collaboration with Diabetes and Nutrition Services department (includes dietitians, CDE, nurse educator)
  • Service area of approximately 200,000
  • EMR = EPIC with Dragon Dictation
  • Perform Radioactive Iodine Capsule treatments
  • 1:3 call coverage rotation
  • CGM Clinic
  • Staff knowledgeable of pumps and meters
  • Osteoporosis Center
