Premier Health has a strong physician presence in the central market and opportunity to grow market share for spine surgery and other spine procedures. This position represents an opportunity to place a spine surgeon in a market that includes service to our Level I Trauma Center. The physician being recruited for this position, in conjunction with other Premier Orthopedic physicians, plays an integral role in covering the zip codes that make up the central market areas. These factors including coverage needs, market share growth opportunity, recent reduction in coverage by a private orthopedic surgeon, and the need for succession planning, factor into the need for an additional orthopedic surgeon in this market
