INTERVENTIONAL PAIN MANAGEMENT PHYSICIAN NEEDED in Massachusetts. This is a great opportunity to practice in a private settling right outside Boston while still enjoying the benefits of the city.


Advanced Pain Management needs a board-certified Interventional Pain management specialist in the greater Boston area.

Recognized as a leader in pain management, APM is seeking an Interventional Pain Management Physician to add to their team in Stoneham, MA. You will be the third practicing physician at this practice. Candidates must board certified or eligible in Pain Management.

This group has one goal in mind: to manage the chronic pain of our patients and resume quality of life. As interventionalists, our mission is to treat the root of pain via interventional procedures. This approach increases success rates and lowers dependence on narcotic medication in an era of opioid abuse. We pride ourselves in the unmatched quality of care, service, and compassion that is rare in modern healthcare.

We also run a Suboxone program for opioid addiction management, and certify patients for Medical Marijuana (MMJ) in MA.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • See patients for office visits with the support from midlevel providers.
  • Perform interventional procedures in our Ambulatory Surgical Center. Physicians routinely perform Steroid Epidurals, Facet joint and medial branch blocks, Radio Frequency Rhizotomies, Spinal Cord Stimulator implantation, Regenerative medicine (PRP), EMGs, and Botox.
  • Train and supervise midlevel providers to evaluate and document patient visits on your behalf.
  • Become proficient with GE Centricity EMR
  • Participate in administrative duties such as AAAHC, DPH and surgical center credentialing surveys.


  • MA medical license in good standing
  • Board certified/eligible in Interventional Pain Management
  • Affiliate/admitting privileges in nearby hospital
  • New fellows are welcome
