Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterology trained physician to join our growing team of exceptional clinicians and staff in Albuquerque, NM.

Practice Highlights

  • One healthcare system based in the Albuquerque metro area including two hospital locations
  • Cover one hospital located in the Albuquerque metro area Monday-Fridays, year-long
  • Expected work schedule; Monday-Friday (9-hour days), 2 weeks per month, to include rounding and consultative services at Presbyterian Hospital
  • Supervise Advanced Practice clinicians in performing consultation and follow-up on inpatients.
  • Perform necessary procedures on inpatient consult service
  • Collaborate with GI practice for outpatient follow-up
  • No need to admit or discharge patients as that is performed by the Medicine Hospitalist team at each hospital
  • Inpatient services include 1 Gastroenterology Physician plus 3 advanced practitioners

What We’re Seeking:

  • Must be BC/BE in Gastroenterology
  • Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
  • Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
