Malignant Hematology Physician
Novant Health Hematology
Novant Health is seeking applicants who are board certified/eligible in hematology and/or medical oncology to be part of a growing malignant hematology program across the health system. The successful applicants will help lead efforts in the care of patients with acute leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and the delivery of transplantation and cellular therapy.
You would be joining a team of physicians and nurse practitioners who jointly provide care in the out-patient and in-patient settings to patients with blood cancers. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing program that is rising to meet the needs of the evolving health care environment. In-patient care is currently provided on an 11 bed malignant hematology and
cellular therapy unit at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center and our newly renovated out patient office is in close proximity to the unit. We are part of a rapidly growing and expanding cancer program that will be moving to a new 7 story cancer center. Our new space, will consist of a 14 room outpatient apheresis and cellular therapy unit for the delivery of outpatient HCT and CAR T-cell therapy. We value clinical research as it provides our patients with more options for care and as such encourage participation in pharmaceutical industry sponsored protocols. Experience in the care of transplant patients is preferred but not required.
Qualified candidates should submit a formal CV to Emily Slagle, provider talent acquisition.
