The Gettysburg Cancer Center, a busy private community cancer center, is recruiting a highly motivated, radiation oncology physician or graduating fellow for a position at our facility. This full-time opportunity is for a board certified/board eligible physician to lead our radiation oncology team.
We are a community-based practice which has been operating for the last 30 years. Our center provides radiation oncology, medical oncology/hematology and radiology for Adams County and the surrounding areas.
In addition, we actively collaborate with large tertiary care centers such as Hershey Medical Center, Johns Hopkins University Hospital and NIH/NCI. The new physician team member will have the opportunity to participate in tumor board meetings, not only with the surrounding hospitals, but also remote access to Hershey Medical Center as well.
We have medical oncology and imaging onsite and also have a very active research department and participate in over 20 clinical trials that offer additional options for our patients at the facility. PET/CT is also onsite for patient Sims. Staffing includes 2 full time radiation therapists as well as remote dosimetry and physics who are onsite 1-2 times a month.
Gettysburg Cancer Center operates Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM
