Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, a Healthgrades top 250 Best Hospital for the second year in a row, is seeking a Cardiologist to join an active and highly respected Heart and Vascular program. Cheyenne is located in the Southeast corner of Wyoming--just 90 minutes from Denver and 20 minutes to Curt Gowdy State Park.
Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Cardiology, as well as Nuclear Cardiology. Additionally, Cardiac MR is preferred.
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is a CMS 5-star rated hospital, the only hospital in the State of Wyoming with this designation. There are only 407 hospitals in the US with this rating (out of 4500).
Our cardiology program is nationally recognized by: US News and World Report, American Heart Association, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and Healthgrades. Our cardiologists enjoy a collaborative and suportive environment with a immediate referral network. The cardiology group draws from a service area of around 200,000. There would be no ramp up--it would be busy from day one.
The compensation program is generous, incorportating a wRVU upside production structure. In addition, there is an annual CME allocation, paid malpractice, a sign on bonus, relocation bonus and reimbursement for student loans.
Accredited by the Joint Commission, CRMC is a 222-bed, full-service facility, offering the latest in medical advances, including both da Vinci Xi and MAKOplasty robotic surgical systems, a new cancer center, newly remodeled emergency department and hospital lobby, two new CT scanners and 20 hospital clinics employing more than 100 physicians.
