Urology Hospitalist needed in Fort Worth, Texas

Requirements:

  • MD or DO candidates
  • Urology residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
  • Board certification required
  • Seeking candidates ready to begin practice immediately

Position Details:

  • Employed position with Texas Health Physicians Group, including an excellent compensation and benefits package
  • One additional Urology Hospitalist is needed to join three others to cover an expanding Urology group in Fort Worth, Texas – affiliated with Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth
  • We currently have one Hospitalist to cover the day shift, and two to cover nights – one more for day shift still needed.  This is a 7on/7off schedule.
  • This practice uses Epic EMR, as does the hospital so information is seamless

Expanding Outpatient Urology Group in Fort Worth, Texas

Requirements:

  • MD or DO candidates
  • Urology  residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
  • Board certified or board eligible candidates required
  • Seeking candidates ready to begin practice immediately

Position Details:

  • Employed position with Texas Health Physicians Group, including attractive compensation and benefits package
  • The staffing plan is for four Urology hospitalists to cover all the ER call. Two urology hospitalists are already hired, and we are sourcing for the other two. Outpatient urology physicians will not be required to participate in ER call.
  • This practice uses Epic EMR, as does the hospital so information is seamless
  • Practice is located on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in a recently remodeled clinic that includes 20 rooms, 3 procedure rooms, and 13 bathrooms – with room to grow when needed.
  • 21st century urologic equipment and capabilities.  These include the following:
    • Cystoscopies
    • Prostate biopsies
    • Urodynamics
    • Vasectomies
    • Circumcisions
    • Bladder Scanners
    • Cysto stent replacements

It has a census of about 600 patients per day and 27 ORs. This facility is presently a Level II Trauma Center but is working toward a Level I designation. Texas Health Fort Worth has a robust emergency department with more than 90,000 visits and an active call schedule.
