Physician - Hematology and Oncology Job in Cheyenne, WY

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center,  a Healthgrades  top 250 Best  Hospital for the second year in a row, is seeking  a Medical Oncologist  to join an active and highly respected  cancer program. Cheyenne is located in the Southeast corner of Wyoming--just 90 minutes from Denver and 20 minutes to Curt Gowdy State Park in scenic/rustic wyoming.

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is a CMS 5-star rated hospital, the only hospital in the State of Wyoming with this designation.  There are only 407 hospitals in the US with this rating (out of 4500).

Our cancer center  draws from a large catchment area--Southeastern Wyoming, Northern Colorado and Western Nebraska.  Our skilled and tenured staff support this very busy treatment center, and are recognized in our community for their warm and caring patient care. .  There would be no ramp up--it would be busy from day one.

Accredited by the Joint Commission, CRMC is a 222-bed, full-service facility, offering the latest in medical advances, including both da Vinci Xi and MAKOplasty robotic surgical systems, a new cancer center, newly remodeled emergency department and hospital lobby, two new CT scanners and 20 hospital clinics employing more than 100 physicians.

Cheyenne, the state capital, is a community of approximately 65,000 residents. The location is ideal, being about 90 minutes north of a major metropolitan area, Denver, but also within 20 minutes of mountains, reservoirs, rivers and wide open spaces. The community offers panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, 320+ days of sunshine per year and four seasons—including cool summer nights, spectacular fall days and many mild winter days.
