St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates (SPHPMA) has a full time employment opportunity for a Physician Assistant  to join a Cardiology practice located in Albany, New York.

Advanced Practitioners will work with Cardiologists in both the hospital inpatient setting and the outpatient clinic. This role is full-time, Monday-Friday with weekend call rotation.  This position will treat adults of all ages and enjoy access to sub-specialty care in our communities.

With more than two dozen physicians and advanced practitioners treating patients across four hospitals, this practice offers a vast range of services, including cardiology, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, vascular clinics, nuclear cardiology, interventional cardiology at St. Peter’s and Samaritan Hospitals, and electrophysiology.

Instrumental in establishing an interventional program at St. Peter’s Hospital, a top 100 Heart Hospital for 10 years, this practice also provides medical directorship of St. Peter’s Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Program.

Applicants should have the following: graduation from an AMA approved program, board certification, ACLS/BLS, NYS licensure, and DEA required. One to two years of experience working in a Cardiology setting is preferred.
