Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW) and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Springdale, Arkansas seek a full-time board eligible/certified Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join as a faculty member in an academic gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition practice.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Faculty appointment at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences at the Assistant or Associate Professor level

  • Immediate availability with negotiable starting date.
  • Join an established practice with a faculty of eight physicians at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas who currently staff clinics each week at ACNW. 
  • Program is growing to add this full time faculty position based at ACNW with the potential to add a Nurse Practitioner for additional clinical support.
  • Primary focus on general pediatric gastroenterology.
  • Excellent clinical space including endoscopy suite.
  • Strong collaboration and affiliation with USDA-ARS Nutrition Center, food allergy research programs, Center for Translational Pediatric Research, Healthy Foods Research Group, and Center for Childhood Obesity Prevention.
