Cisco LifeConnections Health Center - Part-time Psychiatrist 

UNC Physicians Network is seeking a part-time Psychiatrist for an on-site employee health clinic in Morrisville, NC, Cisco LifeConnections Health Center.

Clinic hours:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m
• Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m

Position Specifics:

• Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others.
• Provides professional medical servies to patients.
• Exercises independent professional judgment in the care and treatment of patients.
• Orders and prescribes medical treatment, diagnostic testing, nursing care, and other health and medical services.
• Prescribes medically appropriate pharmaceuticals.
• Consults and counsels with patients and families.
• Provides health and medical education to patients and families.
• Refers patients as needed to appropriate medical specialists and other health care professionals to assure appropriate mutidisciplinary care is provided.
• Documents medical and clinical care in the patient's electronic record in a timely manner.
• Assigns the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to permit third party insurance billing.
• Collaborates with and participates in the education of other medical professionals.
• Adheres to the principles of medical ethics.

Job Qualifications:

• Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
• Board certified
• NC State License preferred
• Must be eligible for credentialing
