The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is seeking a BE/BC general neurosurgeon to join their affiliated hospital, UPMC Western Maryland, in Cumberland, MD. The hospital is hiring in preparation for the retirement of one of their experienced neurosurgeons.

*Or Cohen-Inbar, MD – Completed residency in Israel and neurosurgical oncology/radiosurgery fellowship at the University of Virginia
* Kheder Ashker, MD – Completed residency at West Virginia University
* Augusto Figueroa, MD – Completed residency at West Virginia University

Practice Highlights:
*Case mix: 80% spine and 20% cranial
*Call will be 1:3 with PA’s assisting with first call
*Anticipated 1st year volume of ~150 cases and 250+ once established
*Level 3 trauma designation
*Mid-level support with a PA or NP provided for assistance in OR, helping in clinic, rounding on patients, and for call assistance
*State-of-the-art equipment including a Mobias Imaging Airo TruCT Mobile CT System
