ABOUT THE POSITION
Seeking applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. The candidate needed is a fellowship-trained, minimally-invasive surgeon to help expand and build the University of Louisville's minimally invasive effort. Applicants must be board certified in general surgery and have completed a MIS Fellowship.
Qualified candidates should be at the Assistant Professor rank and have a proven track record of peer-reviewed scholarship. The selected candidate would assimilate into this active and very busy clinical group to continue to lead the high-quality care and management of patients with gastrointestinal disorders amenable to MIS techniques. We seek a physician with expert skills and an interest in both teaching and academic productivity in clinical areas.
