Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent part time employment opportunity for a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to join a well-established practice located in Boise, Idaho.
The selected candidate will join two MFM physicians, genetic counselors and five Sonographers at the practice in Boise and will also cover Nampa. Labor and Delivery (L&D) rounds are multidisciplinary in nature and attended by MFM, OB Hospitalists, L&D Unit Coordinator, L&D Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, Nurses, Pharmacists, Social Worker, Case Manager and often both Nursing and Pharmacy students.
The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Call coverage includes consultative call including weekends, 1:3 equally shared among 2.5 FTE provider group.
Support includes a Level III+ NICU that provides 24-hour comprehensive specialty care for premature and high-risk infants delivered at SARMC or transported to SARMC NICU, as well as the sickest of full-term infants. On-site Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Gastroenterology, 24-hour Anesthesia, Radiology and Emergency Medicine coverage. On-campus OB/GYN clinic with 20 providers and a community network of employed and allied primary & specialty care clinics. The ideal candidate will possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; have successfully completed an accredited ACGME/AOA OBGYN Residency and Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship; Board Certification, or will obtain certification within three years of employment Idaho medical licensure and granting privileges at SARMC SAMC – Nampa; Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy, DEA.
