An established solo podiatrist (DPM) in Southern California, is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and personable podiatrist providing services to help our growing clientele for nursing facilities in CA (Full-time and /or Part-time). The new incoming podiatrist would create a corporation with the current solo DPM, and this would be a partnership and a 1099 model.

Here's some of the benefits of the opportunity:

  • Earn $1,200 + Net per day working an approximate 8-hour workday, increase your earnings by increasing patient load. There is always a full roster of patients available for you at multiple nursing  home locations
  • You set your own schedule, determining the days and hours you work
  • Always have an assistant that preps the patients before you treat them
  • Evenings/Weekends not required, but being flexible would be appreciated
  • New graduates are welcome as are experienced DPMs
  • Full-time or Part-time, you decide what works best for you (full-time preferred)
  • Full reimbursement for all travel (mileage and accommodations)


  • Cover one location/facility per day, no traveling all around Southern CA in one day
  • Throughout the week, travel to different cities/facilities to treat patients at that specific nursing home location – different location everyday
  • Examine patients' feet and legs to diagnose diseases
  • Perform basic foot and ankle procedures (toenail removal, injections, debridements, avulsions, etc.)
  • Perform routine footcare
  • Prescribe medication as needed
  • Prescribe foot orthoses, braces and shoes that improve mobility
  • Review patients’ medical history
  • Advise patients on foot care and general wellness practices
  • Order additional medical tests (like X-rays, ultrasounds) to form a better diagnosis if necessary
  • Perform appropriate documentation of findings and treatments


  • Experience as a Podiatrist, new graduates are welcome
  • Competent knowledge of therapeutic treatments for the lower extremities
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well both with the elderly
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with serious diseases
  • Up to date with latest treatments in Podiatry
  • Doctoral Degree in Podiatric Medicine
