Hospice Physician Job with Centra in Lynchburg, VA

CENTRA MEDICAL GROUP – is seeking a BC/BE physician to become part of our Hospice team. Centra Hospice is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association, a member of the Virginia Association for Home Care and Hospice, and certified by the Joint Commission, Medicare, and Medicaid. Centra Hospice was founded in 1983 (as Hospice of the Hills) and was one of the first in Virginia.

The Lynchburg Hospice team is a dynamic, collaborative team with a unique connection to the hospital and ability to tap into specialty services. The group has a great relationship with the cardiology team which is extremely beneficial for advice and consults. This group is all inclusive honoring all patients’ choices and keeps families engaged.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• MD/DO
• BC/BE

YOU CAN EXPECT

• Total Compensation between 240k – 260k
• Call 1:4
• Typical schedule is M – F 8AM – 5PM, but depends on call and GIP admissions
• 2 MDs and 4 APPs
• Opportunity for physicians do be involved with staff education
• Typically 1 overnight admitting call required
