Who we are looking for:

Located in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Kootenai Health is seeking an experienced ABEM board certified Medical Director to lead Emergency Medicine Services, as part of the leadership team for our physician led multispecialty group practice. The medical director will be responsible for the strategic and day to day operations of the department to assure that patients receive optimal emergency medicine care with a strong focus on quality, safety, teamwork, patient satisfaction and throughput.  The medical director will have dedicated protected administrative time and will serve in a collaborative dyad management role with both Kootenai Health and Kootenai Clinic leadership.  The ideal candidate will have leadership experience working in busy, high acuity emergency departments, including ACS Level I or II Trauma Centers.
