King’s Daughters Medical Center, a 465-bed regional referral center in Ashland, Kentucky, is offering an outstanding opportunity for physicians with dual training in Medical Oncology and Hematology.

The incoming physician will earn a $500,000 salary plus wRVU productivity and quality/customer bonuses (income potential exceeds $600,000). We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, six weeks for vacation and another week of for CME (and $5k). Signing bonus and student loan support also is provided. We can sponsor J1 and H1B for this opportunity.

Our renowned program features a talented and collegial team of seven oncologists and five advanced providers.  They share a manageable workload and call (1:5) and practice with excellent specialty colleagues (radiation oncologists, general, breast, thoracic and colon surgeons). We are recognized as a Comprehensive Cancer Center and have been accredited for more than 30 years through ACoS.

Our Oncology Center of Excellence is a welcoming setting for patients and their families. Our team features a nurse navigator, a financial navigator, case managers and pharmacists. In addition to on-site lab services, we host an infusion center with 36 beds (130-150 patients per day).  

King’s Daughters serves a patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio.  We receive referrals from 20 regional hospitals. In addition to our main campus in Ashland, we also feature a second hospital, King’s Daughters – Ohio, in nearby Portsmouth, along with primary and specialty care clinics throughout the region. All are connected via EPIC electronic medical records.

King’s Daughters oncology program is affiliated with the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center. We also host University of Kentucky Emergency Medicine residents, with plans for expansion.
