Identify and recruit teaming partners to align with Sterling Medical on new business opportunities in the US and strategic countries worldwide.

Responsible for the overall practice management of a multi–provider primary care physician practice.

Recruit physicians and physician extenders to identified needs within Mercy Medical Associates as well as non-employed physician groups affiliated with Mercy Health to meet community need as identified in Mercy Health Medical Staff Manpower Plan. Research, initiate and implement strategic projects involving the Medical Staff Manpower Plans and Service Line Offerings. Responsible for negotiations and administration of Physician Recruitment Agreements for non-employed physician groups affiliated with Mercy Health.

July 2000 - September 2002 Mercy Medical Associates “MMA”/ Mercy Health Partners Southwest Ohio Regional Team Leader, Group Practice Operations and Regional Physician Services Consultant

Recruit, hire and mentor physician practice operations office managers. Provide administrative, management, technical support to other MMA practices and special projects as directed by the President of MMA.

Manage the administrative details of 40 Mercy Medical Associates physicians and their staff transitioning from employment into private practice. The chief goal of assisting the majority of those physicians with a successful transition into the independent practice of medicine and maintain affiliation with Mercy was achieved. Responsible for contract administration of all employed and non-employed physician groups affiliated with Mercy Health Partners Southwest Ohio.

Manage day-to-day physician practice operations; budget, AP, purchases, JACHO compliance, safety standards.  Communication link between staff, physicians and Mercy Medical Associates. Align group practice operations with strategic plans set by Mercy Health Partners and Mercy Medical Associates Recruit and hire employees with appropriate skills to ensure quality patient care. Supervise nursing and clerical staff, set department and employee goals, performance coaching in problem-solving for the business unit. Provide administrative, management and/or technical support to other MMA practices as directed by the COO of MMA.

Provide leadership to drive continuous improvement by aligning staff development with the strategic plan set by the senior leadership team. Developed and implemented HR systems, policies and procedures to increase effectiveness by reducing staff turnover, enhance productivity and stabilization of staff morale. Created an environment of trust, respect and teamwork to bridge the gap between management and non-management. Developed and implemented training initiatives for staff and management increase effectiveness.

Ordained Licensed Minister: Provide pastoral care and leadership for 50 laity leaders and 500 volunteers. Pioneered various ministry areas, developed policy and procedure, implemented systems, created training materials and instituted training programs to equip leaders and volunteers to increase self-awareness, develop skills amplified experience to increase leadership effectiveness.
