I am committed to improving Veteran access to healthcare by connecting, matching, placing, and retaining highly qualified VA-trained Health Professions Trainees (HPTs) in critical vacancies while also educating non-VA HPTs who are successfully completing or expected to successfully complete an affiliate-sponsored, VA-sponsored, or non-VA training program warrants them eligible to apply to our job opportunities. Additionally, I work to educate Hiring Managers on ways to quickly and easily recruit current HPTs as they may be selected and tentatively offered positions up to one year prior to, and any time after, completion of their training.
