Paula Widerlite, PCC is the former chief strategy officer at Luminis Health, Anne Arundel Medical Center, a $1.1 billion health care and non-profit organization. Prior to that, she was the lead strategist for an integrated delivery system in the Washington, DC region serving in that role for two decades. Her 40-year background in health care and non-profit organizations as a leader and a trustee has provided her with an abundance of experience in strategy development, government relations, business development, regulatory and legislative policy, marketing, and communications. She is a member of the Health Care Advisory Board for APCO’s International Advisory Council. She brings decades of experience as a C-Suite executive in large, complex health care corporations. Since July 2020, Paula has been a strategy advisor to organizations consulting on the development of strategic plans for health care, higher education and other industries. Currently, she is a student in the Wharton Executive Education inaugural program for Chief Strategy Officers.

As a graduate of the Georgetown University Executive Certificate program in leadership coaching, Paula is a certified and skilled leadership coach helping more than 100 executives and emerging leaders improve their performance and become effective leaders for their organizations. She is a frequent speaker and trainer on topics of adopting a coach’s mindset, emotional intelligence, executive presence and change management. Paula serves on several community boards and been recognized for her community service among other contributions. She is the founder and current chair of Champions for Children, a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization of women helping children thrive.
