Ken H. Allman, MBA, CMSR, FMSD, is founder and CEO of both PracticeLink—The Online Physician Job Search Career Advancement Center and MountainPlex Properties LLC. Both PracticeLink and MountainPlex Properties are based in Hinton, WV, home to America’s newest National Park, the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and Ken’s hometown. Before founding PracticeLink.com in 1994, Ken was a physician search consultant with Christopher & Long, where he was recognized as Recruiter of the Year for placing 20 physicians in 20-months across multiple specialties and employers. Before entering the physician recruitment field, Ken was a management consultant for the international firm of Alexander Proudfoot, where he was honored as Outstanding Staff Management Consultant of the Year in both the United States and Worldwide for his work in the areas of quality and productivity improvement in business processes and systems working with several different companies in a number of different industries ranging from manufacturing to distribution.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Alderson-Broaddus College in premed biology, with concentrations in computer science and community health and public medicine. He completed one year of graduate work in biology at the University of Dayton. In 2009, Ken went back to school and completed his EMBA degree at Washington University in St. Louis. Ken was recognized, in 2009, as one of the nine top small-business executives by the West Virginia State Business Journal and was the recipient of the 2011 Friends of Business Award from Summers County Women’s Business & Training Center. In 2014, Ken received the West Virginia Small Businessperson of the Year by the West Virginia Small Business Administration. Ken serves on the Board of Directors for the Hinton Area Foundation, the Three Rivers Forever Foundation, and the Board of Trustees for Appalachian Regional Healthcare. Ken lives in St. Louis, MO, with his wife, Julie, and son, Charles.

Christy Bray currently serves as the Chief Customer Officer for PracticeLink, a leading platform in healthcare recruitment. Christy has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, including VP of Provider Talent at Ardent Health Services, AVP of Provider Recruitment at Lifepoint Health and Physician Recruiter and Senior Consultant at Banner Health. She is skilled in provider relations, team building, process improvement, staffing solutions and previously served in several committee roles for the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR).
